Welcome back to Bone Head Truckers, where we dive into the wild world of trucking and the sometimes unbelievable things that happen on the open road. Grab your coffee, because we’ve got a couple of stories that’ll make you shake your head.
Road Rage Reaches New Levels
First up, we’ve got a story out of Illinois involving a truck driver who took “road rage” to an extreme. This driver, reportedly upset with a car moving too slowly, allegedly decided to fire a weapon at the other vehicle. Yes, you read that right. While cruising in an 18-wheeler, this individual thought it was a good idea to start shooting because another car wasn’t meeting their speed expectations on what is believed to be I-94.
The driver, identified with a name that the video host found challenging to pronounce, was reportedly hauling a vehicle to Burlington, Wisconsin. According to the Assistant Lake County States Attorney, the driver became agitated with a car traveling at 50 mph.
Adding another layer to this, it’s reported that this driver was previously charged with “escape” in Detroit and doesn’t have a permanent residence in Illinois. The authorities recovered the weapon used in the incident from a lock box in the semi. The video host expressed strong opinions about the driver’s actions and background, suggesting serious consequences.
Amazon Prime: Still Causing Chaos?
In other news, it seems like Amazon Prime trucks are still making their mark – sometimes literally! The host shared an image, reportedly sent in by a viewer, showing an Amazon Prime truck that apparently collided with an awning at a post office.
The host didn’t hold back, questioning the driving skills of some Amazon Prime operators and the companies that hire them. Whether it’s a smaller delivery truck or a full-sized semi, the sentiment was clear: these trucks are often involved in incidents. The host even quipped about the condition of some of these vehicles, suggesting they’re held together with “bungee cords and duct tape,” and linked the low cost of hauling Amazon loads to the quality of the trucks and drivers. The incident at the post office was framed as damage to taxpayer-funded property.

Upcoming Event!
On a more positive note, the host announced an upcoming trip to Chattanooga to visit TRC Freight. Following that, there’s the Bone Head Truckers Car and Truck Show in Calhoun, Georgia! If you’re in the Atlanta or Chattanooga area, or just up for a road trip, head over to the Calhoun, Georgia airport on Friday and Saturday. It’s a great chance to see some cool trucks and cars, and maybe even meet the host!
Stay safe out there, and keep those stories coming!
