A dramatic car fire on Manners Way in Southend today sent shockwaves through the local community, as thick, black smoke billowed into the sky and flames engulfed a vehicle in full view of shocked residents and passersby.
What Happened?
According to eyewitness accounts and video footage shared on social media, the fire began just before 4pm when a vehicle, believed to be a small passenger car, suddenly caught fire while in motion. Moments later, visible flames could be seen erupting from the engine area.
